Howdy! While at Morning Star Marina, Captain Matt and his son, Matthew, helped us get to know the boat. We actually took it out of the slip! We worked on docking, went out into the sound, dropped the anchor, pulled the anchor back up, and Momma learned more about the lines. I stayed on the fly bridge with Poppa and kept a look out. It was so great! It was different than being in the car. I could see everything and felt the wind on my face …. it felt like I was flying!
In the summer, the morning weather man on WDRB in Louisville has a Motorboat Monday contest for the best pic. Momma tried to get pics from my first boat ride to be seen on the program, but Jude never picked us. Oh well, we like Jude so we won’t hold it against him.
